Robert Pattinson is Inglouriously Ideal

Robert Pattinson suits up for the Inglourious Basterds premiere held at the Palais Des Festivals during the 2009 Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France on Wednesday afternoon (May 20).

The 23-year-old British actor is in Cannes to promote his upcoming flick, New Moon. Attendees got to see never-before-seen footage of the movie last night. One attendee blogged, saying, “We got to see never-before-seen footage from the film and it looks good so far. Still heart-tugging. But most importantly, I fulfilled many a young girl’s dream to stand next to Robert Pattinson and share a joke with him.”

Inglourious Basterds, starring Brad Pitt, opens in theaters on Friday, August 21.
