OlderLucy Hale Auditioned For Twilight Twice!
Lucy Hale doesn’t have any luck with vampires but isn’t letting it get her down.
The 19-year-old actress caught up with PopEater to dish on her new Lifetime movie, Sorority Wars, Disney Channel and Twilight. Check it:
On auditioning for Twilight” “I auditioned for Twilight. It was for Ashley Greene‘s part. She plays Alice. I didn’t even have any idea what Twilight was then!” (JJJ Note: Lucy also auditioned for the part of Jane in New Moon.)
On her new movie, Sorority Wars: “Her mom was in a sorority. She was a Delta. And [Katie] was raised her whole life thinking she was gonna fulfill the legacy and follow in her mom’s footsteps. I don’t know if in real life they’re [pledging for sororities are] this cut-throat. But in the movie they’re definitely a little catty!”
On being addicted to Twitter: “I just feel that Twitter is a really good way to broadcast what I’m up to. For the most part everyone’s really supportive. I almost feel like they’re my friends!”
On watching Disney Channel during her free time: “You know, everyone is secretly obsessed with the Disney Channel. I don’t care what anyone says. It’s always on my TV. Always! I don’t know what it is! I think maybe it’s a comfort thing. I don’t know, but Wizards is hilarious!”
Sorority Wars premieres on Saturday, October 17th @ 8PM ET/PT on Lifetime Movie Network.
