Nathalia Ramos: New Music Ahead!

Nathalia Ramos holds up one of the JJJ coasters as she attends the premiere of The Vow held at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood on Monday night (February 6).

Stopping by for a quick chat, the 19-year-old actress caught us up on what she’s been doing since wrapping House of Anubis in England and more. Check it out below!

JJJ: What do you love most about romantic movies?
NR: It’s kind of that aspiration and that fantasy that we all dream for. As a girl you can’t help but love a good love story.

JJJ: Do you have any favorite romantic films?
NR: I’m a huge fan of Rachel McAdams. My favorite movie is so cliche but it has to be The Notebook, I cry every time.

JJJ: What can you tell us about House of Anubis?
NR: I’ve just been filming for 6 months. I love everything about that show, the cast is great. I just came back and I actually went straight back to school when I finished filming the series. I’m studying at USC, so that’s my focus right now.

JJJ: Is it hard for you to juggle acting and going to school?
NR: It is hard, but graduating is something that is really important to me. I love school and I want to encourage other girls and teens to stay in school. I hope I can be an example that you can do it all.

JJJ: What can we expect from your character this year on House of Anubis?
NR: Well this year, Nina’s not the new girl and she’s really taking her place as leader. She has really come out of her shell and she’s in this situation that she really has to take charge because her life is at stake now, and her friends lives. We really see her stepping up to the plate and you see this new side of her no one has seen before. It’s really great! I can’t wait for everyone to see.

JJJ: What’s next for you career wise?
NR: I just filmed the season, it premiered a few weeks ago so that was exciting. I definitely want to start focusing on music now, I’ve been doing that now.

JJJ: What can we expect from your music?
NR: I’ve always been recording and writing with my dad who’s a musician. I have a kind of pop-rock sound. I’m kind of still figuring out my sound so I want to keep working on that and see where it takes me.
