Sammi Hanratty looks ready for summer in a cute blue dress as she arrives at the 2009 Kids’ Choice Awards held at UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon (March 28).
The 13-year-old told JJJ at the KCA after party that she loved her trip to Thailand where she was filming The Lost Medallion and she got to ride an elephant.
Sammi recently attended the Starlight Children’s Foundation “A Stellar Night” Gala on Friday.
JJJ caught up with KCA winner Vanessa Hudgens before the 2009 Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday (March 28).
We asked her all about her new house, guilty pleasures and what she really thought about boyfriend Zac Efron‘s Interview mag cover. Check out what the 20-year-old had to say:
On her own guilty pleasure: “Anything chocolate!”
On what she had for breakfast: “I had my whole grain waffles that I made and scrambled eggs.”
On showing off her cooking skills: “I love cooking and I got a new waffle maker. It’s my new favorite thing to make waffles every morning. I’m kind of the worst [at entertaining]. I kinda don’t put out food. I should start though cause I think they get hungry!”
On decorating her new home with designer Kenneth Brown: “I just heard about him, he’s really great. I haven’t gotten everything in yet, but it’s so fun cause it’s so much and it’s very bohemian and I love it.”
On what she thought about Zac Efron’s Interview cover: “It was sexy! It was so hot! I saw it, and I was like, damn!”

The 18-year-old “Crush” crooner and Paula accepted the award for Fave Reality Show for American Idol during the ceremony.
David recently performed to a sold-out crowd in his hometown of West Valley, Utah. He yelled to the crowd before performing, “It feels so good to be home, you guys! This is amazing! This is awesome! I can’t believe how unbelievably crazy this is, my first hometown show.”

The Jonas Brothers Go Green!
Nick, Joe and Kevin get slimed on stage at the 2009 Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday night (March 28) in Los Angeles.
After the award show, where they picked up the orange blimp for Fave Music Group, the JoBros joined good pals Honor Society on stage at the House of Blues.
JJJ reader Claire wrote to us, “It was extremely crowded! But the boys looked beautiful and the energy was very high. I looked up at the balcony throughout the show and Kevin, Joe and Demi a couple people down the row were dancing and singing along. They looked like they were having lots of fun. Great show!”

The 22-year-old actor presented the award for Favorite Animated Movie with costar Queen Latifah. The orange blimp went to Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa.
Josh and Queen‘s animated flick, Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, due out in theaters in July.
Josh Hutcherson takes a new spin on the classic suit as he arrives at the 2009 Kids’ Choice Awards held at UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon (March 28).
The 16-year-old actor recently completed work on his upcoming flick, Carmel. The flick centers around a teen who wanders into Carmel, Calif., where he is soon introduced to the art-forgery community.

Nina, 20, just scored the lead role in the upcoming CW series, The Vampire Diaries. The series will also star Lost‘s Ian Somerhalder and Minutemen‘s Steven R. McQueen.
