'Glee' Cast Perform at Radio City Music Hall In New York City - Throwback Thursday!

Happy Throwback Thursday!

On this day, May 28th, ten years ago in 2010, the cast of Glee hit the stage at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City for a sold out concert.

The McKinley High New Directions rocked stages in sold out venues across the United States after the show’s first season of the instant hit series had wrapped up.

Cory Monteith, Lea Michele, Jenna Ushkowitz, Chris Colfer, Kevin McHale, Amber Riley, Naya Rivera and more toured the country for the first Glee tour.

They performed hits “Don’t Stop Believin’”, “Somebody To Love”, “Don’t Rain On My Parade”, “Jump”, “Bust Your Windows”, “Like A Prayer”, “Bad Romance”, “Sweet Caroline” and more.

After the massive success of the first tour, and the first two seasons of Glee, the cast embarked on an even larger, world tour the next summer. The second concert tour was much bigger, many more costumes, and so many different performances from the New Directions kids and their rivals, The Warblers.

In case you missed it, Glee co-creator Ryan Murphy recently revealed that he would love to redo the pilot episode and include these two celeb BFFs!

Just last year, the cast celebrated the show’s 10th anniversary. See what they said!

Lea Michele Writes Love Song About Cory Monteith Called 'Hey You'

Lea Michele is honoring her late boyfriend Cory Monteith on her new album Places.

The Glee alum hints at her track “Hey You” being about their relationship, and even calls it a follow-up to “If You Say So” from her first album Louder.

“I wasn’t originally thinking of including that on the album. It’s sort of a sensitive subject for me that’s hard to talk about, and I didn’t want anything on the record that I couldn’t talk about,” Lea told PrideSource.com. “But it just felt so beautiful. It wasn’t about loss, it wasn’t about sadness. It was really about joy and love.”

“I love it so much, and I really feel it represents who I am and everything that I’ve been through in my life,” Lea added. “At the end of the day, the song is pretty specific, and people are gonna make of it what they want, but I wanted to make a song about loss that wasn’t necessarily sad.”

Lea Michele Talks About Ryan Murphy's Support After Cory Monteith's Death

Lea Michele Talks About Ryan Murphy's Support After Cory Monteith's Death

Lea Michele is opening up about the support she received from Glee and Scream Queens creator Ryan Murphy after the death of her boyfriend Cory Monteith three years ago.

“When I found out [Cory had died], Ryan was one of the first people I called. When Cory was alive, Ryan was very helpful in trying to get him well and healthy but, when that day did come, Ryan did take charge, and he helped me more than I can ever explain,” the 30-year-old actress told Entertainment Weekly.

“He completely cared for me. He made sure I was okay every single day, whether it was coming over to his house and having dinner prepared for me, or making sure I was okay at work,” Lea continued. “He sat me down and said, ‘What do you want to do? Do you want to continue the show? Do you want it to end?’ I just said, ‘I just want to go back to work.’ His heart is bigger than I think he knows what to do with sometimes.”
