It’s a sad day for all Jane By Design fans.
The ABC Family dramedy will not be coming back for a second season on ABC Family, THR reports.
Star Erica Dasher tweeted to her fans, “Thank you so much for everything!!! It was incredible and you all are the best part of that experience. Love love love.”
“Its true no more JBD but we had a blast making it, and we love your for supporting it. #goodnightjanequimby,” star India de Beaufort added.
Jane By Design followed high schooler Jane Quimby (Dasher), who moonlighted as an executive assistant to a hotshot executive (Andie MacDowell) at a top New York City fashion house.

With little to go on, Gray (Andie MacDowell) gives Jane (Dasher) the task of going to London to find Jeremy and persuade him to come back. Now all alone in London, Jane heads out to find Jeremy and save the day.
Meanwhile Billy (Nick Roux) tries to repair things with Zoe, only to have his relationship with Jane get in the way – again.

With Billy (Nick Roux) returning from juvie, Jane is nervous about how things were left and what that means now for the two best friends. But, she doesn’t have too much time to think about it because with India (India de Beaufort) now gone from Donovan Decker, Gray (Andie MacDowell) is leaning on Jane more than ever.
Jane starts to wonder if she may have a shot at the job, with a little encouragement from Jeremy (Dennis), but some stiff competition might be standing in her way.
